San Francisco

San Francisco is a captivating city that attracts tourism from around the world.

Welcome to San Francisco

Dynamic cultural center with many landmarks and attractions.

San Francisco is a captivating city that attracts tourists from around the world. The colorful Victorian and Edwardian rowhouses of neighborhoods such as Haight-Ashbury represent San Francisco’s signature architecture, but this scenic city is full of diverse neighborhoods with distinctive properties.

Some of the largest and most spectacular residences are found in prestigious Pacific Heights. Nob Hill and Russian Hill are neighborhoods that exude classic elegance and old-world grandeur with spectacular views over the city, Presidio, and the Bay.

There are also peaceful family-focused neighborhoods such as Glen Park and Noe Valley, while districts such as SoMa are characterized by glittering modern high-rises. The Castro is one of San Francisco’s liveliest neighborhoods, with many restaurants and nightlife spots in the heart of one of the world’s largest and most well-established LGBTQ+ districts. Wherever you live within this dynamic cultural center, you’re never far from outstanding restaurants, eclectic shopping, and world-famous landmarks.

San Francisco has an unparalleled dining scene with fantastic restaurants serving cuisine from every corner of the globe. Fisherman’s Wharf is known for its excellent seafood restaurants, specializing in clam chowder and sourdough bread. The Buena Vista has been a mainstay at Fisherman’s Wharf since 1912 and is famed for introducing Irish coffee to the United States. Alioto’s is another San Francisco classic, serving Sicilian-inspired seafood here since the 1930s.

Ghirardelli Square houses diverse shopping and dining in a renovated chocolate factory that has been a Bayfront landmark since 1862. Businesses within Ghirardelli Square include a Ghirardelli chocolatier, continuing the legacy of sublime chocolate making.

Pier 39 juts out from Fisherman’s Wharf into the Pacific Ocean in full view of the Golden Gate Bridge; thus, many of the restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf have excellent views of the iconic landmark connecting San Francisco to the gorgeous scenery of Marin County. Pier 39 is lined with attractions, shops, and great seafood restaurants. It’s also famous for its street performers and the sea lions which gather at the pier’s end. Speaking of nature, Mission Dolores Park is one of the city’s largest green spaces, featuring sports fields, tennis courts, and large lawns that host many festivals and special events.
